HAPPY 2010!
We are now well into the new year and fast approaching Spring half term holiday - where did the time go? As is ususal, we are ending the half term with an Enrichment Week - this time it is entitled 'The Elements' We have all kinds of arts planned this week including our Y2 pupils working with artists to plant living willow structures and some of out Y5 and 6 pupils working with graffiti artists to create art which will be hung and displayed in a local gallery - sounds great!

We are also hard at work in class and using our Creative Partnerships to work alongside writers and poets to develop our children's writing skills. We currently have artists and writers in our Reception, Y1, Y3 and Y4 classes. The children are enjoying this new approach to developing writing and it is great for our teachers to get the chance to work with such talented people.
Our new Deputy Head teacher Mrs Ford began working with us in January and she has already set up an ICT club who on Tuesdays, after school, will be setting about refreshing and updating our web-site. Things change so quickly, it will be good to have the club onboard ensuring our site is current and interesting. Please keep checking back to see what is new!
