... if you still wish to join the 24 month leasing scheme for iPads. Any letters returned after this time will not be accepted as the order will have been placed with the iPad company.
Just a quick update to let you know where we are along this process.
Mrs Boyes and myself are meeting with the iPad company this afternoon to agree our vision and investigate how we can promote e-safety whilst the children use them.
We have been assured that delivery of the iPads will definitely be before Christmas. I will be sending out a letter on Monday to give parents and carers updated information and ask for a confirmation of who is happy to sign up to the agreement. I must have that back before the end of the week so I can place the order.
This is an opportunity for you to tour our school and get a sense of the fantastic work that goes on. It’s also a chance to ask any questions you may have, over a cup of coffee. There will be a morning session—9-11am and afternoon session—1-3pm.
Y1 letters were sent out on Friday and further details will follow for each year group closer to their event (a copy of the letter is in the 'letters' section of the website).

Exciting times for our school! We signed a partnership agreement through the Lions Raw charity which links our school up with a school in Curitiba in Brazil. Over the coming year we will be making video clips of all the exciting activities which happen in school, and sharing them with the school in Curitiba. They will be sharing information about the learning that happens in their school too! School staff and pupils will also have the chance to Skype the other school and ask staff and pupils there questions about their school, face to face. Children at Fordley are looking forward to sharing their school across the ocean to the other side of the world - very exciting!
