  We were very happy to welcome children’s author P.G. Bell into school today to share his new book with KS2, inspire them to become authors and also sign books for the children.  A fantastic morning all round!

  

• Water Safety for Y1-Y5 from the RNLI

  We were visited today by the RNLI who spent time with all year groups exploring the importance of water safety.  The children thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and learned how to keep themselves safe near water.

  

• Y6 Visit Newcastle University

  Mon 11 Feb 2019
  Y6 enjoyed an amazing day on their ‘University Safari’ finding out about the life on campus and typical experiences of a student at university.  They even had the chance to experience graduation.  Many children were inspired to aim for university when they leave school.
