  What a week the children have had!  They've visited a cider farm, a biscuit factory, the city of Bayeux and the Bayeux tapestry and the site of the D-Day landings.  Their time in France is almost up and they will be heading home later on this afternoon.  We are looking forward to welcoming them back to school and finding out more about their adventures.

  What a busy day the children have had!  They’ve visited the landing museum at Arromanches, the beach in Normandy, a biscuit factory to make their own French biscuits and a cider farm (tasting the delicious apple juice).  More adventures to come.

  They all arrived safely at Dover ferry terminal and have boarded the ferry for Calais.  Further updates will follow.

  We hope all of our lovely Fordley families have had a fantastic summer holiday and we are looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday for the first day of a new school year.
