• Mr Whitehead and Mrs Stephens on TV in Brazil!

  When Mrs Stephens and Mr Whitehead visited the first school in Curitiba on Monday they were greeted by Brazilian news cameras.  The visit of our teachers to Brazil is an extremely newsworthy event and the partnership between schools on opposite sides of the world is something to celebrate.  See if you can spot them both ...

• UPDATE - Mrs Stephens and Mr Whitehead in Brazil

  Yesterday Mr Whitehead, Mrs Stephens and the teachers from Holystone and St Cuthbert's spent their first day in school - Holystone's partner school.  After a tour of Curitiba old town, they were all treated to a VIP welcome at the school with an amazing song from the children.  They all spent time with the children in school and were interviewed for national television.

  It was a very early start on Saturday morning for Mr Whitehead and Mrs Stephens.  Their first flight from Durham Tees Valley took them to Schipol Airport in Amsterdam, Holland.  From there they flew to Rio de Janeiro and landed safely on Saturday night.  After an overnight stay in a hotel they caught the morning flight out to Curitiba.  They should be landing soon and the Brazilian teachers will be there to greet them.
