• SNOW UPDATE - Closed Tomorrow

  SNOW: school will be closed tomorrow.  We have not taken this decision lightly but current conditions are not safe and forecast is not good.  The safety of all children, families and school team is our priority.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. An update will be posted tomorrow about Friday.  Stay safe.

• World book day - rearranged for Friday 9th March

  Due to the weather, and the possibility of closing tomorrow, we will hold our World Book Day on Friday 9th March.

  SNOW UPDATE: school will close at 12pm today, due to the weather.  If you haven’t already left, please stay at home.  We will send a message at 3pm about tomorrow.  Stay safe!

  We are currently still open as most staff are on their way in. However we are aware of the importance of safety for our children and families.  Please do not make the journey if you do not feel it is safe.  We will update again at 8:45. If you haven’t decided to leave, please wait

  As you will have noticed, we have snow this morning.  School will be open as normal but please take care on your way in from home.  Do not worry about being a little late, we would rather you were safe.

• WORLD BOOK DAY - Thursday 1st March

  A letter will be coming home with your child today about World Book Day next Thursday.  There is also a copy under the letters section of this website.

  We are very sad to hear the news today that the lovely Frankie has lost his battle with cancer.  It was a pleasure to have him in school as part of our Fordley family, see his cheeky smile and how much he enjoyed performing at Christmas in the nativity.  All of our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

   

  Please look out for a letter, which will be coming out to all families tonight (in an envelope).
