OFSTED INSPECTION OF FORDLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL - UPDATE

UPDATE

Good afternoon,

Due to circumstances unrelated to school, Ofsted (late yesterday evening) had to defer the inspection today and will now be inspecting the school tomorrow and Thursday.

This does mean that we will have to rearrange a date for 2EM and 4DG parents/carers consultations to (as there will be no spare space in school to hold these meetings successfully) but I will send a message now to each class affected with the new date on Seesaw and the dates will change on the calendar here).  Any times already arranged will happen on that new date.

Thank you for your understanding.

Good afternoon to you all,

We have had notification this morning that we will be welcoming OFSTED into our school tomorrow and Wednesday.  It is a number of years since we were last inspected (I was Deputy Head at the time) and we are looking forward to being able to share how amazing your children are and the work that we do, as well as welcoming any professional feedback on areas we could continue to improve.

The letter we will send home today gives more information but I would ask that you click the link below to share your feedback of our school.

If you have any questions about this inspection, I will be outside at the end of the school day as normal.

Parents/Carers of children in 1CY, 2BH, 1JR and 6JF - I will rearrange your consultation appointment with your child's teacher and send you a separate message with the date (this is because Ofsted will need to use space in school which we would have allocated for your meetings).  Your times will stay the same.

SEESAW ACCESS - if you don't currently have access to our Seesaw Learning and Communication Platform please email office@fordleyprimary.org.uk and we will get this up and running for you
