HAPPY NEW YEAR AND WELCOME BACK!

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you all back tomorrow for the start of a new term.

Just a few updates and reminders before tomorrow:

PARKING OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL AND THE SCHOOL CAR PARK

The school car park is locked between 8:30 - 3:30pm.  We have noticed that some delivery companies were not closing the gate after them so the gate will now be locked.  This is for the safety and security of our school site.  Please note that the car park is not to be used by Breakfast Club parents/carers as children are on site and their safety is paramount.  Please park with consideration on Dudley Drive, Craig Crescent and beyond for the safety of all of our children and families.

DROP OFF AND PICK UPS

For Reception to Y6,  drop off times are between 8:40-8:50.  Doors will remain open until 8:55 but then they will be closed and locked for the safety of all children and staff.  If you arrive on site after 8:55 you will need to bring your child to the main office to be signed in.  Your child will then be taken across to their classroom by a member of school staff. 

Hometime collection - this is 3:20pm and class teachers (or supervising adults) will see children out of the door 1 at a time.  This is to make sure children reach their designated adult safely.  As some of our classes have up to 30 children, this may take time so your patience is appreciated.

CHANGE OF ADULT FOR COLLECTION

If a different adult to normal is collecting, please ring or email the school office (0191 2502207 or office@fordleyprimary.org.uk) before 2:45 as this message will need to be passed to the class teacher before the end of the school day.

SCHOOL LUNCH ORDERING

If your child has a school lunch, we highly recommend you pre-order their lunches at home to make sure your child gets the options they will enjoy.  We can order in class on the day but it doesn't always guarantee they can have a hot lunch.  If you need your login details resending, please email office@fordleyprimary.org.uk 

AFTERSCHOOL CHILDCARE

Just a reminder that this provision is for childcare purposes for working parents and not a club, so please only book your child in on days you require childcare.  We are exploring more options for clubs for all children and will update you as soon as we have them in place.
