Caring for a child can come with its worries and concerns about their health and wellbeing, leaving parents and carers feeling overwhelmed and looking for answers. ParentLine is an anonymous texting service to ask questions to qualified nurses. From concerns about feeding and nutrition to queries about development and behaviour teams will provide up to date information and support.
Talking to a professional can help you to feel less anxious and worried and identify the best way forward. The texting service offers an informal and quick way to communicate with health professionals about any issues that may come your way.
The service is available Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm (excluding Bank Holidays). Any enquiries sent outside of these hours will be answered as soon as possible.
You can find out more about ParentLine on the 0-19 Children’s Public Health Facebook Page.

It is still a limited menu due to distancing restrictions for North Tyneside Catering Services staff, but includes hot or cold options each day (as well as a vegetarian option). If your child has an allergy that Catering Services are aware of, they will be catered for appropriately. If your child has a new allergy, please see next post for advice.
Next week's menu is 'Week 1' on the document attached.
If your child has a new allergy that we are not aware of, Catering Services will need to speak with you directly to arrange a special menu for your child. The document attached gives you more information but you will need to contact:

Schools are not able to arrange any special diets directly.
